Ingredients: '
Xylitol: a naturally occurring sweetener found in fruit and vegetable fiber. Recent research confirms xylitol (1) actively aids in the repairing minor cavities caused by dental caries, (2) has a profound plaque-reducing effect, (3) attracts and then “starves” harmful micro-organisms allowing the mouth to remineralize damaged teeth , (4) does not contribute to high blood sugar because it is absorbed more slowly by the body and thus is safe for diabetics , (5) prevents osteoporosis , (6) prevents ear infections by preventing the growth of bacteria in the Eustachian tubes .
Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda): A soft, crystalline substance that acts as a mild abrasive. Also an antibacterial that will kill on contact all of the motile microorganisms associated with periodontal infections, e.g. spirochetes, motile rods, etc. as well as other disease related bacteria. It also neutralizes and detoxifies bacterial acids and toxins that form in plaques (bacterial biofilms).
Glycerin: Humectant. Also has antibacterial potential. When a drop of glycerin is added to living bacterial dental plaque as examined under a microscope, all motility instantly ceases.
Rhizoma Drynariae (Gu Sui Bu, translation: “mender of shattered bones”) indicated for: loose teeth, toothache, bleeding gums, fractured bones. This herb has demonstrated pharmacological effects of increasing bone absorption of calcium with beneficial effects on osteoarthritis.
Herba Taxilli (Sang Ji Sheng) indicated for: loose teeth. Also demonstrated an inhibitory effect against ECHO 6.9, coxsackie A9, B4 & B5 viruses.
Gypsum Fibrosum (Shi Gao): indicated for: toothache, oral ulcers, swelling and pain in the gums, canker sores, treats necrosis and generates flesh. Studies conclude success in treating abscesses and ulcerations, reduce swelling and bleeding, and shorten healing time.
Apple Cider Vinegar: Will pickle motile bacteria and help dissolve calculus deposits developed from bacterial plaque and prevent calculus formation.
Guar Gum: Natural binding agent.
Soap: Foaming agent. Rapidly ceases motility in plaque microorganisms.
Stevia: all-natural sweetener with a negligible effect on blood sugar, 300 times as sweet as sugar.
Myrrha (Mo Yao) & Gummi Olibanum (Ru Xiang) oil: indicated for: Reduces swelling, relieves pain, promotes generation of flesh (particularly gum tissue), enhances healing of skin lesions and ulcerations that won’t heal.
Peppermint (Bo He) oil: Breath freshener. Inhibits bacterial growth. Good for sore throat, dry mouth, increases blood circulation.
Borneolum Syntheticum (Bing Pian): Indicated for: sore throat, oral ulcers, painful swollen gums, prevents decay, reduces swelling and regenerates flesh. Specifically for thrush, toothache, and mouth ulcers. Opens the pores and aids the transportation of other beneficial ingredients into the body.
Pearl powder (Zhen Zhu): Indicated for: Non-healing ulcers to generate flesh, sore throat with ulceration of the gums, polishes teeth.
