HERBAL THERAPY

Picture
Herbal therapy is one of the primary elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  About one-third of prescription pharmaceuticals are plant based.  The chosen chemical is isolated and used in a concentrated form.  This can lead to undesirable side effects that don’t occur when the medicinal isolate is left in its natural state.  By using the entire plant, a balance of biochemical elements is maintained leaving it’s natural healing properties intact.

Gilian Lata, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M. worked in a Chinese Herbal Pharmacy for five years before establishing her own pharmacy within her clinic in Studio City.

Herbal therapy is useful in treating a variety of ailments, as well as  preventative to help build the immune system and nourish and detoxify the organ systems.

Herbal consultations are available by appointment.
